Our products are used for fiber-optic components production and R&D, scientific research, education institutions, technological advancements, and industrial applications across various sectors. GouMax also offers high-performance fiber-optic components and modules for optical communications networks.


Job Title: Application Engineer - Optics
(Immediately available)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Application Engineer with a strong background in optics to join our dynamic team. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and driving the adoption of our optical products across various industries. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales team, and build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and service to customers.
  • Demonstrate GouMax equipment at customer premises and trade shows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to optical products, both remotely and on-site as needed.
  • Create technical documentation, application notes, and user guides to support customers in the effective use of optical products.
  • Verify and test software and products before shipping to customers.
  • Previous software coding experience of application programs is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of products, optical principles and technologies, including test software.
  • Hands-on experience with optical testing and characterization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.


Job Title: Senior Sales Leader (Manager/Director/Vice President)

Job Responsibility and Duties:

  • Lead and mentor a talented team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and penetrate new markets.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and success.
  • Provide insightful market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product development and business strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Physics/Optics or engineering.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience in selling test and measurement products and/or, in particular, tunable lasers.
  • Deep understanding of the test and measurement industry, laser technology, and relevant applications.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
